Cambridgeshire & London, Dublin and Paris Store Visits - sponsored by Western Union
As part of the Insight NACS Future of Convenience event this year, international retailers and suppliers will have a number of study tour options.
Option One: Cambridgeshire & London. Two days of UK regional and London store visits on 20th and 21st September includes:
- Briefing by Dan Munford and briefing on James Graven Group by MD Jonathan James. James Graven is one of the most advanced and respected c-store and supermarket operators in the UK.
- New “energy efficient” Musgrave Budgens BP forecourt with doors on fridges & conveni-pack HVAC.
- New Look Budgens Supermarket with “Local” product marketing and ranging innovations.
- Regular SPAR BP forecourt.
- New “Local” concept SPAR BP forecourt.
- Tesco’s new “Zero Carbon” superstore. The Tesco store is built with sustainable wood, LED lighting and a combined heat and power plant powered with renewable fuel. It has no net carbon footprint and exports back any extra electricity generated to the national grid.
- Waitrose – latest convenience store format
- Latest format Tesco Express
- The Co-operative group – latest store design.

Option Two: Dublin, Ireland. One and a half days of Dublin store visits on 20th and 21st September includes:
Ireland has some of the most innovative C-store and petrol station development in Europe. Our Irish store visits have a particular focus on the world class forecourt and motorway service/truck stop development ongoing in Ireland.
- Applegreen’s first Irish motorway service station site
- Applegreen’s latest forecourt with a groundbreaking new café offer.

- The new Topaz format with focus on foodservice and deli.

Option Three: Paris, France. One day of Paris store visits on the 24th September includes:
- Paris Store Visits Briefing by Dan Munford and presentation from Valérie Laugier, Manager Shop, Food and service, TOTAL Raffinage Marketing on Total’s latest format innovation at Sofitel, La Defense.
- Total’s exciting new forecourt format.

- Danone + Co-Jean – innovative new Paris café with new to go offer.
- Daily Monop’s ground breaking new convenience “food bar”. (to be confirmed).

Making Study Tour Choices
Our online ordering system allows delegates to select which location(s) they want. Delegates can select single study tour days, or attend three days of study tours.
Delegates need to choose between either a UK/London or Dublin study tour on the Monday and Tuesday. Delegates attending either London or Dublin tours need to arrive on the evening of Sunday 19th September.
Prices
Delegates can attend individual days, or the whole week. Options can be tailored to suit individual and company requirements. Our day delegate rate is £495 + UK VAT. Tickets for the Insight NACS International Convenience Retailer of the Year award dinner at the Grand Connaught Rooms, 61-65 Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5DA are included in the price of Tuesday study tour days, or cost £150 + UK VAT as an independent item.
