NACS Show 2010 in Atlanta

The 2010 NACS SHOW takes place in Atlanta Georgia, 5th Oct – 8th. With over 3,500 convenience stores, Georgia’s $5 Billion C-Store market ranks fifth in the US for the number of convenience stores in the state. The NACS SHOW Retail Study Tours will take place during the Show around the EXPO and workshop sessions. With Retail Study Tours on the morning of Tuesday 5th and the afternoons of Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th, visiting a cross section of petroleum and convenience store industry operators in Atlanta.
The Retail Study Tours are a great way for delegates to meet other international retailers and suppliers and gain a valuable insight into US C-store and petroleum ‘best practice’. Delegates also gain a taste of Georgia’s unique culture and meet with local operators. Networking dinners and drinks receptions link international delegates together and are very popular. Insight’s Retail Market Study Tour – South Africa

Insight will be hosting their annual retail market study tour in South Africa in early February 2011. This retail study tour gives delegates a unique insight into what is internationally recognised as a highly developed, sophisticated and very competitive retail market.
As always the program will be highly interactive and includes market overviews and introductions from industry experts, presentations and interactive work sessions with senior representatives from a number of the markets leading convenience, supermarket and petroleum retailers and hosted retail site visits to all of the major retail operators.
These include visits to the latest format developments of; Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Engen, Sasol, SPAR, Foodlovers Market, SUPERSPAR, Fresh Stop Caltex, PnP BP and Engen Woolworths forecourt retail alliances.
In the evenings tour delegates will be joined by senior representatives from the major South African convenience and petroleum companies for dinner at fine African and South African themed restaurants.
The tour is a great opportunity to get new ideas, share experience and reflex on international market trends and developments for the future. While at the same time taking in the natural beauty of South Africa, the tour includes a visit to the top of the iconic Table Mountain in Cape Town via cable car and options for visiting the scenic wine farming district of Stellenbosch.
