Oslo C-Store Study Tour, 14th-16th April 2008

Oslo City has a dynamic and highly innovative C-Store environment.
Within forecourts, Statoil Norway and 7 Eleven both have recent concept stores with new coffee and food to go programmes. There is also the Shell-Fresh joint venture roll-out which has been very successful and a catalyst for change in the market.
With stand-alone C-store development, delegates will visit 7 Eleven and several of NorgesGruppen’s retail formats, including the acclaimed Deli de Luca concept, Mix kiosk and Meny stores.

There will also be an opportunity to focus on developments in travel convenience at Oslo mainline railway station, with Narvesen and 7 Eleven formats; at Oslo international airport to see Flavours, Point, La Baguette and some of SSP’s brand concepts and Oslo’s main shopping centre Oslo City.
We shall also be visiting some of Oslo’s vibrant coffee shops and sandwich shops. Norway has a highly developed coffee culture with the second highest per capita coffee consumption in Europe. Interesting concepts are Kaffeebrenneriet, Kaffe & Krem and Samson coffee shops.
