Make the Most of Networking Opportunities and Educational Events at the NACS Show Insight/NACS Convenience Event Attracts International Delegation
September 1, 2009
Delegates from 17 countries are poised to attend the Insight NACS Future of International Convenience & Petroleum Retailing event in London this month (14-17 September 2009), making it one of the most international gatherings in convenience worldwide.
Attendees include Albert Heijn and Spar International from the Netherlands; Asda, Sainsbury’s and The Co-operative from the UK; Fairprice from Singapore; Delhaize from Belgium, Dor Alon Gas Stations Ops and Dor Alon Energy from Israel, DUCSA of Uruguay; Henderson Retail from Northern Ireland; PetroChina from China; Petrogas/Applegreen and Topaz from Ireland; R Kiosk Eesti from Estonia; Rautakirja from Finland; Sobeys Convenience from Canada and Statoil Europe from Norway.
The event comprises two days of store tours featuring leading convenience and forecourt retailers and two conference days: one dedicated to convenience and one for the forecourt convenience and petroleum sector.
In addition to the business programme, the event provides delegates with social networking opportunities including an industry dinner and drinks at the London Eye. Due to increased demand, the industry dinner is now being held at the new Gaucho, Argentine-styled restaurant in Smithfield on 15 September. The winner of the first Insight NACS International Convenience Award will be announced and presented at the dinner.
The London Eye Drinks takes place after the convenience conference on 16 September and is sponsored by PetroTechnik and Torex.
Availability for certain elements of the four-day event is now limited, so if you want to join the leading international players in convenience, contact Insight immediately to reserve your place. For further details, please visit the conference page.
